Emma Hesch is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who earned her Master of Social Work from the University at Buffalo. She works with children, teens, and young adults who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, school stress, behavioral concerns, self-esteem challenges, or difficult life transitions. Emma is known for creating a warm, supportive space where young people feel safe being themselves without fear of judgment.
Emma believes meaningful change happens when people feel understood, supported, and empowered. She uses a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play-based interventions, and mindfulness techniques to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and increase confidence in handling life’s challenges.
Through her experience in both clinical and educational settings, Emma has helped youth and young adults develop healthier ways to manage emotions, improve communication, and navigate peer, family, and academic pressures. She works collaboratively with clients (and parents when appropriate) to support growth, resilience, and emotional wellbeing.
Emma provides both in-person and virtual therapy and is passionate about helping young people feel heard, valued, and capable of moving forward with greater confidence.
